Into the woods: Hale Center Theater
I hope everyone saw Into the woods this past month and started writing their review paper. As your next part of the assignment I would like each of you to comment on a character from the show that you liked and why. Comment on their character choices and what you thought they did well or what they could do better. This needs to be done by Monday, beginning of class. Thank you!

The baker's wife was my favorite character. The baker's wife had a major role developing the baker's character. She encouraged him to keep going when the going got tough. She went against her husband's wishes to let him go alone and she showed up to give the strength he denied he needed. The actress portraying the baker's wife had comic timing and paused for effect and talked slow or fast for more impact. She was brilliant. She held my attention and got me involved emotionally with the story.
